So today is the day I get to get my cast cut-off and Im so scared! I have a true fear of sharp objects of all kind but I have no choice but to face this fear inorder to get this full leg cast off. I cant express to you enough how scared i am but he starts cutting. I jump, i moan, I cry, I make him stop, i cry some more and i swear and i swear and I cry. He does not cut me like i think hes doing. Its warm through the white bandages but thats it but it still scares me so much i cry even more. He tries to use the scissors to help me calm down but the fiberglass material is so hard that he must use the drill again. I am so relieved when the cast is finally off of my body. This cast removal part makes me never ever ever want to break any bones ever again...but how often do we actually have a choice in this matter.
