Out with the old, In with the new chapter of life. I just finished cleaning out the last of the furniture, vacuuming the carpets, and moving the last box out of this 108 year old house. My grandmother lived in this house for 72 years and I was raised in this house. This room was my old bedroom complete with the original curtains, rugs, and paint. I've never smoked a cigarette in this room but nobody is around to tell me otherwise. I am using a very sentimental dixie cup, oddly enough, as an ashtray. I tell you the story behind these cups along with a few other memories that come with tears and very wet cheeks. If you like to see a very vulnerable, upset woman smoking a cigarette, then this is just what you are looking for. Everything comes to an end, an era, a century old home, a chapter is ending but this just means newer, better things are to come. Thanks for being there for me and listening to me in this hard time.
