I make my way to the garage and find the cutting tool that I think will work and I get started. I am nervous and scared but I face my fears of loud powertools. I try so hard to pull and stretch the cast after my 1st cut but it doesn't work. I am so frustrated, getting sweaty and I keep cutting and pulling and ripping until this cast is finally off. Wow, that is better! I slowly get up in a breath of relief all around. As I make my first steps, I hear and instantly feel my leg crack and break AGAIN! GOSH DARN IT. I silently with the biggest anger boiling within, grab my crutches and make my way back to the hospital to get another cast on. That's what I get for being so inpatient!
