This is last part of A Warm Light for Victoria. For the last ten minutes of Victoria's ordeal, the fire cans are stepped up an inch closer to Victoria's Feet. She is warned that the flames will be closer and she pleas not too, but her pleas are ignored. As a consequence of this, the heat builds up a lot more in her soles, and she struggles and fights a lot more the stock than in the previous parts.
