The background story of Carmen is a bit complicated, but what you must know is that it took me a bit of effort to convince her to appear in a bastinado video. Since she traveled from outside the state to the shot, she didn't want to perform just for very few minutes and call it a day; she wanted to go the full ride. So then, right from the beginning, I start with a medium-fast bastinado, and only with the harshest tools: the leather whips and the long thin cane.
