The Warden is just an asshole, he tells Jolene he's recommending she be denied for parole. Little does he know, she's already picked her way out of the handcuffs. When he turns his back to answer a call, she pounces! She cuffs him, torments and punishes him. By the time she's done with him he WILL recommend her for parole, give her her own cell, preferencial food and whatever else she wants. Jolene shows the Warden who really runs this prison.
