Addie Juniper has a little bit of a crush on Cali Logan! All the better reason for Addie to have selected her as the unknowing guneia pig for her thought control experiment, a procedure involving a remote that transmits special frequencies and a chemical agent. Being that this sort of research isn't quite legal, Addie is presenting herself as an interviewer for a job Cali is interested in. Hey, it might be a bit sleazy, but Addie isn't above a little subterfuge if it means getting to hang out with the girl she likes and two birds with one stone!

Addie gets Cali to drink the chemical agent (tasteless, thankfully), and then uses the remote control. Cali is mind blasted immediately - it works! ...maybe? Cali falls to the ground, which surprises Addie. That wasn't supposed to happen. When Cali comes to, she's dumb and lustful. That was NOT what Addie Juniper had entered into the remote, and she desperately tries to fix it. Alas, that just makes this worse. By this point, Cali is completely in love with Addie, barely able to contain herself!
