Bellah aimlessly flipped through the channels on her TV - bored and uninterested at the shows playing. Her head quickly turned to the side as if she had seen something move by her, but she dismissed it. "My god," she said shivering, "why is it so cold in here?"

The hairs on the back of her neck stood up and goosebumps ran up her soft, dark skin."I can see my breath!" she exclaimed after huffing a huge cloud of smoke in front of her face. She attempted to curl up into a ball to conserve heat, but the cold temperature was almost unbearable.
