I get into my sedan and ask how cranky it's going to be for me today. I give it a crank and it doesn't start. I giggle and moan as I start pumping. I know I can get it going. I count out each attempt with lots of pumping in between.

It goes for me. I knew it would. I drive it to the store and thank it for being good and getting going for me. I tease the pedals a bit before getting out, asking if it's going to be cranky for me again when I try to get home.
