Although Freya's allowed to wear a short robe and Haley a tight chemise, they remain trapped in rope and gagged with knotted black cloths as they sit on the floor. Frustrated by their confinement, they continue to vigorously challenge their bondage and maneuver back-to-back in an attempt to free each other. When the Grinch thwarts their initiative, however, Haley and Freya are tethered to opposite ends of a large couch.
