I bought a new cane to beat Lola's soles with. It's very flexible rattan and it hurts like hell. She can take a lot of pain, and that's what I intend to give her. First I warm her up though - with a desin cane. This thick, whippy plastic rod slaps hard against her feet as she yelps and squirms her way through "part 1."
