Angie is devastated, has had permanent hiccups and belching for 24 hours. Angie is talking on the phone with her friend and every now and then she bursts into the earpiece and has hiccups. Angie tells her friend that she cannot stop what is happening to her, that she feels bad, she feels like she is sick. Her belly is a huge balloon, shaking and bouncing with burping and hiccups. Angie hasn't rested all night, she is exhausted and broken.
