Wearing the normal nurse outfit everyday is hard enough, but it appears that the shoes are causing some great discomfort, they must be a size too small! Wearing the normal nurse outfit everyday is hard enough, but it appears that the shoes are causing some great discomfort, they must be a size too small! With each step that Genie takes on her way to the office she can feel the back of the shoes dig into the backs of her heels, it feels so painful. The thin socks that she is wearing are helping a little bit with the rubbing of the shoes but it's still not ideal. Genie painfully tries to squeese her aching heels into too tight shoes. The pain is unbearable. She is almost in tears as she finally squeezes her feet into very tight shoes. She can barely walk and limps to work. The next day Genie has to wear the same clothes and shoes once more, but she just can't get her heels into the shoes. She lowers the socks to expose her heels and arches and takes a look. She sees that there is a big red/purple bump on the back of her left heel. She looks at your other heel and there is a bump there as well - These are not blisters, it's a deep pain from the heel bone. Genie is a bit worried, They hurt really bad. Genie tries to touch them but the pain is just horrible. The shoes are still too small but she must wear them. She fights to squeeze her sore heels into the shoes with socks down half way - and finally manages to do so but the pain is very bad. She limps to work. Genie decides it would be best to show these bumps to a doctor at work, but doctor only comes later in the day so she has to suffer for a few hours. At work Genie must sit down. It's impossible to stand. She pops her heels out of the shoes and can feel the bump throbbing with pain, at least they can have some relief. She lowers her hand under the chair to rub her heels a little as well and you also dangle her shoes lightly to pass the time. Finally the Doctor comes and Genie stands up to greet her. Then she sits down again because she is in too much pain and begins to show doctor what happened to your heels. She points with her finger on each heel and show her where it hurts the most and explain that the pain is from the inside of your heel and it doesn't feel like a blister. She also mentions to her that the bottoms of her heels hurt as well. Doctor thinks that Genie may be developing "pump bumps" due to the shoes and gives her permission to wear flats to the office. Genie is thankful that she can wear flats to the office and in tears massages your heels in an attempt to relive the pain.
