Carmen is visiting family in her hometown, and stops by to visit an old friend she briefly dated. She thinks all of that is in the past, but it seems like her friend still has some unresolved feelings towards her. She tries telling him that she is recently engaged, but he isn't giving up that easily. He places a special light display for Carmen to stumble upon.
