Taylor's roommate convinces her to check out this "cool video game" on his VR headset. She puts the headset over her eyes but all she sees are spirals. When she tries to remove the device, her roommate pushes it over her eyes until she becomes nice and calm. Taylor is then programmed to see the roommate as her master and follow his every command.
