As soon as the pair silently walked in, yet to dress up in their fetching Gi Gear, you could feel the tension as the proud fighters knew a big challenge awaited them.

As a result, the pair engaged in a rigorous and energetic warm up and stretching routine to ensure they were in tip top shape for the contest, which each of the two clearly wanted to win.

This long warm up session only helped heighten the tension between the pair and anticipation levels amongst those of us watching shot through the roof as they finally faced off ready to get to grips with one another.

The action was instantly exciting as they went at it, fighting hard and trying to secure the dominant position and make an early statement which could lead to them getting the desired victory.

And as we thought, it was a close contest with both Jaki and Alexis Luna showing why they are so highly rated by securing a submission each when they utilised their vast talents to the fullest.

They both showed great resilience and stubbornness throughout two as neither of them gave tap outs easily and it took a lot of effort on both parts to secure them.

Both ladies enjoyed further success as the contest wore on and you could see just how much effort they were putting in by their red faces, dishevelled gear and messy hair between points.

It was a thrilling and enthralling match up from start to finish and there was plenty of respect between the two at the end, before it was time to remove their gear and leave.
