An unnamed citizen heard a noise around 1 am and upon looking out the window saw something strange headed down the site walk. After a few minutes the street lights made it clear that it was a woman bound and scooting down the sidewalk. It wasn't until the figure came within a few hundred yards that she was aware that it was city police detective Michaels. The citizen woke her husband up and the quickly began untying the torn bed sheets to fee the office.
