A plain clothes policeman has let himself into Amber's house while she is washing dishes. He explains that her employer has reported her to the police for embezzling funds from the company. The cop reads Amber right rights as he handcuffs her, then marches her out to his car. He leaves Amber sitting on the back seat for some minutes; she looks thoroughly forlorn, clearly wishing she could get the handcuffs off her wrists, but there is no escape.
