Beverly is trying to teach mathematics and meteorology to a class of indifferent students who would rather talk amongst themselves than listen to anything she has to say. When she starts to get angry with them, someone fires a blow dart which hits Beverly in the butt, and in less than thirty seconds she is comatose on the floor. When she wakes, she finds her students have handcuffed her in the school basement and stuck duct tape over her mouth to prevent her raising the alarm.
