Jessica has been taken hostage by a man who robbed the bank where she works, making sure he makes good his escape. As soon as he is a safe distance from the city, he pulls over and marches Jessica into the woods, now that he has no further need of her. To make sure she doesn't raise the alarm too quickly, he handcuffs her to a tree and duct tapes her mouth shut to stop her calling out, then departs, leaving her to be discovered by some passer by. Jessica struggles, but she cannot slide her hands out of the cuffs. She is stuck there in the woods, alone, and it will soon be getting dark.
