Mistress Megara recounts the days frustrations and bad behaviour of Her pet in Her diary. Exasperated by such a needy irksome creature behaving badly and wanting to always be near Mistress Megara he has been locked away in his cage. Mistress is looking for some respite, some alone time to relax and unwind as the clingy smothering behaviour of Her pet is unwelcome and unwarranted.
