Kneel, slave. Whenever you are in my presence you will be prostrate before me. I am your deity, after all. You do not approach a deity eye to eye. You bow your head in subservience. Your eyes will find the ground and your body will be humble in lowly. This is the first sign of respect you show your Goddess. I will teach you how to be reverent. I will teach you how to be respectful.

A Goddess does not bestow her gifts upon slaves who are unworthy.
