When I was a mermaid, I rescued a prince from a shipwreck and fell in love with him. I went to the sea witch and begged her to give me legs so I could spend my life with him. She granted my wish but took my voice and used it to double cross me.

I defeated her and got my prince but life on land isn't what I thought it would be. Under the sea all princes and princesses are white, and only the lowly sea cockroaches are dark skinned. But, here on dry land the cockroaches walk freely among the white people, and they sure do like white princesses.
