STORY :

Robin the Boy Wonder attempts to bring the Joker to justice all by himself. After disarming the Joker's bomb with some liquid nitrogen to freeze the battery, the Joker arrives and easily dispatches the erstwhile-yet-naive sidekick with one quick spritz of napping gas into his face. As his world grows murky and dim, Robin tries to escape when he slips and falls, badly twisting his ankle. Now captured by the Joker and held for ransom, it falls to the dominoed daredoll herself, BATGIRL, to bring the Joker to justice and save Robin the Boy Hostage!

Responding to a homing beacon left by the boy wonder, Batgirl climbs up the side of the same building using her bat-rope and batarang. Entering through a third-story window, Batgirl surveys her surroundings and eventually confronts the Joker. The Joker tries to trick the courageous crimefighter using his squirting flower (containing acid) but Batgirl deftly senses the attack and blocks it using her chemically-treated acid-proof bat-cape! After a short dialogue the Joker tries a second attack, this time utilizing the same napping gas attack that he used to take down Robin... and it works! Delirious and dizzy, Batgirl swoons helplessly in the tired mist as the joker edges closer to take a look at who is underneath the mask.

BIFF!

BAM!

POW!

In classic Batgirl fashion, Batgirl snaps out of the trance and delivers three swift punches to the clown prince of crime! It turns out that the napping gas had no effect whatsoever because of her special nose-filters that protected her from the drowsy mists! That trick may have worked on sidekick Robin, but Batgirl is so much smarter than that tired old trick!

Unfortunately, the Joker has one last ace up his sleeve. He mentioned to Batgirl that he needs a date to go to Goth Prom (Gotham City's annual gala ball for underworld crime figures), and because Harley Quinn is undergoing shock therapy in Arkham Asylum, the Joker is in need of a last-minute date for tonight's event... and he's chosen BATGIRL to be his +1 for the gala event!

Batgirl (horrified) naturally declines going to an underworld crime ball with Gotham's most dangerous criminal, but the Joker is insistent. Showing Batgirl that Robin is trapped in a bathtub, held as a prisoner, and mortally hurt, the Joker mentions that if Batgirl goes to Goth Prom with him, that she can call Gotham Medical and get an ambulance for the bandaged boy-bruisetoy before he hemorrhages out all over the floor. Batgirl, torn between her love of Robin and he need to bring the Joker to justice, decides to agree to accompany him to Goth Prom in exchange for getting Robin the emergency medical care he desperately needs. After pulling out her bat-radio and summoning the paramedics, Batgirl watches as Robin is loaded into the back of an ambulance and is driven to Gotham Medical Center.

Turning back towards the Joker, Batgirl is suddenly hit in the breast with two armor-piercing rest darts that punch straight through her thick purple spandex armor and deliver a dose of "Smilex" napping nerve agent. Fumbling in her utility belt for her universal antidote, Batgirl collapses before she can reach her antitoxin, and she collapses in a nerveless heap onto the floor, paralyzed by the jellyfish-based chemical agent. What will happen to America's greatest crimefighter? Tune in, and find out!

STORY :

Batgirl awakens after the events of the previous episode to find herself laying down on a medical examination table. Her muscles filled with a paralytic agent to keep her from moving, she cannot get off the table or reach any of the items in her utility belt.

As she looks up she can see a pendulum blade, it's blade made of surgical steel, swinging slowly back and forth. Every tenth swing of the pendulum blade brings the blade a tiny bit closer to cutting through her stomach. No matter how much Batgirl tries, she cannot move her muscles more than a mere twitch here and there.

The blade lowers at an agonizingly slow pace. Glacial.

Batgirl is taunted and teased by the Joker, who wants to know if the dominoed daredoll will go to Goth Prom with him. The pendulum blade swings lower and lower, getting closer to cutting through her skin. Eventually, she nods and relents, tears streaming down her eyes.

Batgirl is freed to told to go "clean up' before the prom begins. She is into another room and to disrobe in front of the Joker. She pulls off her cape, and then her sexy purple boots, and then her gloves, and finally her utility belt leaving her weaponless and vulnerable to attack. Getting into the tub, she slips off her purple armored catsuit and to her horror discovers that the cackling madman known as the Joker keeps a crazy amount of "Mister Bubble" on hand and then fills the tub with it, producing frothy, sudsy water!

The tub filled with soapy water, the Joker adds a FINAL ingredient to the tub, a special dose of Smilex that will make sure to get absorbed through the pores in Batgirl's skin and will leave her with a big happy smile on her face once the toxins finally take effect. Can Batgirl escape from this soapy doom-trap? Can she find a cure for the laughing toxin?
