In part 2 Elayne is taken to see the judge. She is led to a holding room and then upstairs to see the judge. When she is done at the judge she comes back downstairs and sits to wait until she is released. The judge let her out on bail and she has to appear in court the following friday. While the officer is taking her cuffs off he tells her that she doesn't have a choice and she has to come to court that day even though it is the day before her wedding.
