The other day Debbie's big Ford Ranger pick up broke down and is now being fixed in the local garage.

Steve my office manager calls me to say that Debbie is borrowing Emma's car to go to a meeting and that she had received a call from one of our biggest customers, he tells me she was going to take a taxi but now is going to drive. I'm surprised as I did not think Debbie could drive a stick shift car so today I downloaded the footage from Emma's company car and this is what I saw.

Steve my office manager calls me to say that Debbie is borrowing Emma's car to go to a meeting and that she had received a call from one of our biggest customers, he tells me she was going to take a taxi but now is going to drive. I'm surprised as I did not think Debbie could drive a stick shift car so today I downloaded the footage from Emma's company car and this is what I saw.

As I understand debbie is stuck in the office working on some pricing when she gets a call from one of our biggest clients who want her to attend a de-brief on one of her contracts. Debbie agrees to go but as she has no car she books a taxi to come and collect her at 15:00. The meeting is only a 15 drive away so this should be plenty of time.

15:00 comes and no taxi has come, Debbie rings the company who tell her the taxi is delayed and will be there in 20mins. Debbie will defiantly be late and she hates to be late. She rings her client but no answer.

My office manager Steve tells her that Emma's car is outside and she can take that, Emma is away on annual leave. Debbie grabs the keys and walks outside to the car.

Now this is where the story gets good, Emma's car is a manual transmission stick and Debbie has never driven a stick shift before, she does not even have the license for a stick shift just automatic. She gets into the car and straight away she notices it's a stick shift, she obviously now remembers that Emma's car is a manual.

She starts the car and tries to put it in gear but stalls, she stalls again and again so she quickly gives up and gets out to make a phone call, no idea who she called. Debbie then obviously makes a decision to try and drive the short distance to the meeting.

This is a really good catch and an amazing watch, Debbie struggles with the gears and keeps stalling. She does get the hang of it pretty quickly but all the way through the drive she is revving really high because she forgets to change gears. Did I forget to mention she does all of this in Black platform stiletto heels. Wow.
