Sarah nervously tapped her foot on the car's floor as she waited in the passenger seat. She glanced at her watch for what felt like the hundredth time. Her best friend's wedding was supposed to start in less than an hour, and they were still a considerable distance away from the venue. Her boyfriend, Mark, had promised to drive her there, but he needed to stop by his office to grab some documents.
"Mark, come on!" Sarah muttered to herself, fidgeting with her phone. She knew he was dedicated to his work, but she couldn't help but feel anxious about being late to the wedding.
