Scene Two: Family Healing

Later that morning, Cory can't rest. The thoughts of her step-daughter worshiping her feet have really gotten to her. She can't think about anything else. Nikki must be resting by now, Cory thinks. Quietly she sneaks into her step-daughter's room and pulls the covers off her tired feet.
