Wonder Woman is trying to take down the Emperor who has come to Earth. She has threaded her way through deathtraps to take him down, in advance of a group of heroines. She confronts him and he lashes out with his lightsaber which she blocks with her golden bracelets. She then pulls the saber out of his hands telling him to take down the deathtraps so her friends can get in. He refuses saying "I'm afraid the deathtraps will be fully operational when your friends arrive" and lashes out with lightning.
