Let’s be honest, no one fights clean in a real fight so why train self-defense clean? Ms. Irene starts with some knee techniques. She begins by demonstrating without their male test dummy explaining the important parts of the strike. She then strikes the demo volunteer causing him to buckle in pain from the quick knee to his balls. When demonstrating the knee using her other leg the volunteer flinches which earns him a double knee as punishment. Ms. Irene continues her class for the two ladies demonstrating a front snap kick using both the top of her foot and the ball of her foot. Once the volunteer is on his knees Ms. Irene demonstrates how to strike while he is down. Ms. Irene continues through demonstrating punches, forearms, heel strikes, hand grabs, rips, foot stomps and foot crushes, thoroughly explaining the techniques she uses each time. After delivering a devastating blow that causes the volunteer to crawl off into another room in agony, Ms. Irene asks her students what they would like to practice first while taking the camera and preparing for their guided class practice.
