Agnes’s younger housemate Linda is baking a cake and getting the house ready for a dinner party while Agnes is at work. Linda is, and inexperienced at being a society woman, but Agnes taking her under her wing to help her find a suitable husband. Linda has not been having much luck with Agnes’s lessons so far.
