It's way past my bedtime, but I decide to have a little snack anyway. I eat too fast, and all of a sudden, I'm launched into a bad case of the hiccups! The come hard and regularly, making it too hard to try and rest. Instead, I decide to ride them out, each one shaking my body and making my chest jump. But what a long bout! After 10 minutes, I hold my breath for awhile, until the hiccuping finally subsides so I can get my tired butt to bed.
