Excited to start I forget to hold my nose in the begging with the rush of water going into my sinuses I quickly rise above the water in shock that I forgot again.....

I sink into the warm water of my bathtub, feeling the tension in my muscles begin to dissipate. I take a deep breath, feeling the soothing scents of my bath oils fill my lungs before exhaling slowly.

I sink into the warm water of my bathtub, feeling the tension in my muscles begin to dissipate. I take a deep breath, feeling the soothing scents of my bath oils fill my lungs before exhaling slowly.

As I settle into the water, I decide to try a breathing exercise to calm my mind and body. I take a deep breath and fully exhale before inhaling once again and submerging my face in the water.

My body begins to adapt to the water's temperature, and I feel my heart rate begin to slow. As I hold my breath, my mind begins to quiet and my body feels more at ease.

I count the seconds as they tick by, my lungs feeling as if they are expanding with each passing moment. As the need to breathe begins to build, I remind myself to stay calm and focused, and I push through the discomfort.

Finally, I surface, gasping for air as I take in deep, grateful breaths. I take a few moments to rest, feeling the calming effects of the exercise taking hold.

I repeat the exercise several times, each time feeling more at peace and centered. The sound of the water and the warmth of the tub soothe me, and I feel grateful for this moment of self-care and relaxation.

After this it is time for our other nightly ritual with a relaxing smoke.
