Scene one: Evidence

Alex's step-mother (Cory Chase) is in the kitchen when her step-son Chris rushes into the house and runs straight into his bedroom and shuts the door but leaves it slightly ajar by mistake. Figuring he must be up to something, his step-mother walks over to his bedroom and looks through the cracked door and watches him frantically burning something onto a disk at his computer. When he quickly jumps up and starts towards the door she rushes back to the kitchen whereupon he informs her he will not be back in time for supper and rushes out the door.
