Scene one: Blackmail

Mrs. Hail has called in her flunking students parent to have a conference and let him know that she's failed the year. “There isn't any way for her to pass” Mrs. Hail says. Her step-dad tries to fight for her, trying to figure out anything that will let her pass. Good think he's a private investigator. Knowing that something like this might happen he's looked into Mrs. Hail's past.
