I lie on the couch and flip through the magazine while smoking a cigarette. I wanted to have a relaxing afternoon, but my persistent cough haunts me and I can't relax. My body is tense and twitches with each cough. I hope the cough goes away and I keep flipping through the magazine as I cough and try to clear my throat.
