Now blind, muted, and helpless, Carolina follows verbal directions and slowly makes her way over to a lounge chair. In rather cumbersome fashion I manage to make the upper arm strap that goes with the jacket serve as knee binding, and fetch a white leather strap to attach her body to the chair back. Her blindfold slips off so I give her a new one. Carolina is content to stay this way when I promise to make us something to eat, but when she hears the front door close behind me, she does not seem so content anymore.
