I woke up this morning with a sore and scratchy throat. I describe the sensation to you, explaining exactly how my throat feels when I try to swallow - almost swollen, like swallowing water is an effort! I am using a bright pink throat gargle to try and heal my poor throat. I pour it into my mouth and tilt my head back then gargle, so you have a perfect view of my long slender neck and throat. Once I've spat out the mouthwash back into a cup I open my mouth wide and allow you to peer right into the back of my throat, so you can see exactly how it looks - a little pinker than usual!
