I wash my very long brunette hair in the bath - pouring jugs of water over my head until my hair is completely saturated and then massage shampoo into my hair so it lathers up into huge amounts of foam. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and fresh and I follow it by massaging in conditions, then rinsing it out by pouring water over my head again. Finally I carefully comb my hair with a wide toothed comb to get out all the tangles.
