I have all my life jackets lined up ready on the bed, we’re both completely naked so we can feel the material against our skin. I help Chloe to slide on the first life jacket, zip it up and clip the buckle. Unfortunately this one doesn’t have a crotch strap so definitely not a favourite. This one has a crotch strap and I explain how to bend over and pass it between her legs and fasten it tightly at the front. Chloe has never worn a crotch strap before and it feels unusual, but in a good way! I can’t resist putting one on and joining in with the fun. The third one she tries is very chunky, the baltic and it’s her favourite so far. I help her to fasten the strap and she buckles the crotch strap. She’s getting the hang of this now and starting to enjoy it. She really likes the feel of this one and rubs her hands over it. She said that she feels super safe and could definitely see herself wearing it. The final life jacket she tries is another Helly Hanson, similar to the first but with a crotch strap. I get all excited watching Chloe and can’t resist doubling up and putting another one on! Chloe decides that her favorite one is the baltic as it’s the most padded and felt amazing. She’s had lots of fun and will definitely wear them with confidence in the future. We finish with a life jacket hug.
