I’ve lost my pet! I took her on a quick lunchtime walk and she ran off!! She’s gone across the river! I’ve got my work clothes on and I can’t get them wet or dirty, I run back to get my waders. I’ve got a pretty pink dress on and light coloured stockings. I slowly pull on my bright blue waders to keep my clothes nice and dry. They feel so good, soft and rubbery. I can’t get any water on my clothes, I hesitantly step into the water and make my way across the river, I stumble a little and crawl up the bank on my hands and knees. I’ve lost my pet! I took her on a quick lunchtime walk and she ran off!! She’s gone across the river! I’ve got my work clothes on and I can’t get them wet or dirty, I run back to get my waders. I’ve got a pretty pink dress on and light coloured stockings. I slowly pull on my bright blue waders to keep my clothes nice and dry. They feel so good, soft and rubbery. I can’t get any water on my clothes, I hesitantly step into the water and make my way across the river, I stumble a little and crawl up the bank on my hands and knees. I can’t find her anywhere, I keep calling and searching. I slip and fall onto my knees and have to crawl through the mud and water. She’s on the other side, I’m going to have to brave crossing the river. I wade in deeper and deeper, the river is flowing fast, I don’t think I’m going to make it! I go further up the river where the water is a little calmer, it’s so deep though, the water is almost coming over the top. This is a nightmare, oh no, the water has gone inside! That’s it I give up, that stupid pet. I peel my waders off to reveal damp patches on my light stockings, my feet are soggy and wet, it’s cold and dirty. Look at the state of me, my boss is going to be so angry with me!
