Most importantly you need a life jacket! I have a padded O’Neil one on today. It has four adjustable buckles to keep me extra safe. This life jacket doesn't have a crotch strap unfortunately. You can attach all your necessary safety equipment to your life jacket to ensure that you are safe out at sea and you can respond appropriately in an emergency.
