Time and again however the inmate would interrupt the punishment and time and again Officer Dark Angel would have to admonish her with a warning that her caning would be all the more harder. Thus already red from previous strokes, the caning of the inmate continues causing her to with successive strokes causing the inmate to yelp and the officer to pronounce ‘ This is punishment ’At one juncture the punishment officer felt compelled to swing her cane against the punishment bench to reinforce her orders to which the cheeky inmate asked ‘ what did the bench ever do to you ’.
