Lalo the merciless giant is excited that the time has finally come to devour a village of tiny people that have come willingly to his house and are willing to offer themselves as sacrifice for their God Lalo. He looks at them and smiles in anticipation of all the dozens of tiny people soon to be struggling for their lives.

When he arrives to their gathering location, he taunts them - they’re so weak and pathetic - no WONDER they're only food for a more dominant and deserving predator.
