I have bronchitis and I can't stop coughing! I've been coughing up mucus and saliva for days and it won't seem to quit. Not only does this hurt my chest, but it's making my poor throat sore as well. My throat, usually a healthy vibrant pink, is now dark red and inflamed from all the coughing. You can see my swollen tonsils, and the thick, stringy mucus all this coughing has given me. Even my uvula is hurting. My throat is so swollen and tight, and you can see it clench tighter every time I cough.
