Last night Lizzie confessed to me that at 3am she snuck out to her car dressed in nothing but my bathrobe to scrounge around in her car to look for nearly-empty vape cartridges - all so that she could take a few pathetic puffs. This, despite the fact that she has committed to quitting to me numerous times. While I do respect her for coming clean (along with her desire to quit) - it's extremely important that she be held accountable to her commitments. Plus I don't appreciate the sneaky behavior, or the way she went about it so recklessly and unsafely. She's admitted that her parents didn't do a great job disciplining her growing up, resulting in her becoming spoiled and feeling like she lives "above" consequences - so these are important lessons for her to be learning, albeit later in life.

I decided an aqueduct punishment would be about 10 minutes of kneeling on rice in the corner, with her elbows cocked back and head held up high.
