As possibly the biggest incentive they offered sexual interaction with giant (normal-sized) women. Knowing of the inherent dangers of such interaction, they recruited single men with foot fetishes. Also, they were able to configure the frequent medical monitoring of the subjects so they could be monitored by mostly analyzing their semen.
