Still she occasionally stops to bend down, inspect her exposed toes and clean the bottom off with her hand. She knows the friends she is meeting will appreciate that and she won't be embarrassed by a couple of them sniffing when she is around, She rests with her leg propped up for a while longer and wiggles her toes, a trick she's learned to keep her casted leg from cramping because she's still got about a quarter mile to gimp on those exposed toes before gets to where she needs to be. After a nice rest and wiggle she gimps off again.
