My roommates left trash on the floor and it's pissing me off. The trashman is coming soon and it has to go outside.

I try pushing the garbage down in the rubbish bin and the hard plastic crinkles beneath my white sandals. The aluminum cans make a satisfying crunch as everything compresses and becomes smaller beneath my weight.

The cardboard boxes are squashed flat beneath my soles and I'm jumping on them for fun. My shoe jumps and stomps on egg cartons in a little victory before everything is pushed down in the garbage can.
