You decide to meet up with a friend to go shopping and, after texting back and forth with her, you set out to pick her up. (Your legs are crossed and you are tapping your slippers against your heel rapidly) Scene #2 In the Car You get into the car, put on your seatbelt and place the key into the ignition. Your car is old so you pump the pedal a few times before turning the key and holding the pedal to the floor. It doesn't start so you try pumping the pedal a few more times before turning the key, again holding the pedal to the floor as it cranks. Still nothing so now you are a bit nervous. You pump a few more times and try again, this time holding the pedal for only a few seconds before quickly pumping the pedal. This isn't good. You take of your seat belt and push the seat closer so you can pump better. You turn the key and it cranks but now you are pumping as it cranks away. You stop and try again and again, with no luck. After several attempts, you'll give up to let the car rest. You text your friend about your car trouble as you get out, hoping she can drive her car instead.
